    This bit was informative and a good idea in letting students know about social/community events. However, I think this story would have been more interesting by varying the shot location. If the event occurs at the Memorial Stadium, go to the stadium and talk about the event. Segue from one news item to another by inserting b-roll or a billboard and thus avoid jump-cuts. Trying to memorize the whole spiel is tough; instead, memorize certain parts and for the parts to be covered with b-roll/billboards, just read off a script. I felt that this story could have easily been just an audio clip. Involve video. People don’t walk to watch a talking head.
