Story

A Catholic charity organization in Boston shuts down its adoption services because of a state law allowing gays and lesbians to adopt children. Currently, the governor of Massachusetts is planning to file a bill that would allow religious organizations to be exempt from this law. Should the government create such a law that impedes the Church’s teachings and would it be right to only exempt religious institutions from following this law?
